The "Shinshoji Zen Museum and Garden" is a large property featuring 17th-century temple buildings, a restored tea room, and a temple office with a pine-filled garden. Enjoy Zen experiences such as calligraphy, tea, food, and garden walks to purify your mind and body.
The experiences included in the tour are as follows: lunch at "Shinshoji Udon", an installation art experience at "Kotei", and a visit to the "Hakuo Gallery".
Enjoy "Shinshoji Udon" for lunch, which is a meal format eaten by Zen training monks called "Unsui" in a Rinzai sect Zen temple. Experience the extraordinary by using a "mokko" bowl and "Unsui" chopsticks while feeling grateful for the meal in the Zen garden.
※It will be guided in two parts, from 11:00 to 12:10 and from 12:30 to 13:40, respectively. The tour guide will inform you of the day.
※Time cannot be specified in advance.
※The lunch image is for two people, but currently, for hygiene reasons, we provide one serving per person.

Ushitora Shrine

It is a shrine built in the direction of the demon gate (Ushitora) to prevent the disaster of Fukuyama Castle, which became a hot topic last year as it was built 400 years ago.
The enshrined deities are Susanoo-no-Mikoto, the god of warding off plague and evil, and Amenouzume-no-Mikoto, who is said to have danced in front of the gods, exposing her skin to the ground.
