Located 25 km to the West of Central Hanoi, The Quintessence of Tonkin occupies a space close to Chua Thay, a special National Cultural Heritage site and one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in Vietnam.
As you take your seat in the gigantic outdoor theater by the tranquil banks of a serene lake surrounded by lush green mountains, the floating stage begins to emerge from the water. Watch in awe as Vietnamese folklore and legends come to life in a series of performances that include an incredible cast of dancers, stunning visual and sound effects, water puppetry, colorful costumes, and acrobatics and stunts. The Quintessence of Tonkin is a truly unforgettable experience, and a celebration of Vietnam's vibrant and unique culture that will stay with you long after the show is over.

Return your pass at the ticket gate after the performance
The shuttle service departs at 5:00 PM at Grand Plaza Hotel, No. 117, Trần Duy Hung Street and returns at 20:40. Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance and depending on availability. You must be at the pickup point 15 minutes before the bus departures. The bus leaves on time and in case of a missing car, we can help call a taxi but the customer will pay for it.
