— What You Can Expect —
Introducing our Boodle Fun Feast – where utensils are optional, and flavor-packed adventure is the main course!
The Boodle Fight originated from a Philippine Military Academy tradition wherein the cadets would assemble around a table covered with banana leaves, with rice and viand spread all over. The cadets would usually eat using their bare hands in a free-for-all attack until the banana leaves are wiped clean. You can experience the same at Pelican as they prepare a Boodle Feast of fresh seafood and meat dishes, and vegetables and rice.
Dive into succulent, marinated meats that are cooked to perfection, savoring the smoky goodness as it melts in your mouth. Those plump shrimps are made for picking up by your fingertips, no need for delicate handling. Let the flavors explode in your mouth. And the steamed rice! It's aromatic, fluffy, and irresistibly delicious. Scoop it up with your bare hands, mixing it with the seafood, meats and veggies, creating the ultimate taste symphony.
So, leave the utensils behind, gather your families & friends, and come hungry because we're serving up a finger-lickin', bare-hand lovin' feast like no other. Enjoy it the Filipino way by using your bare hands too!
