— What You Can Expect —

Discover Gaya Island, closest to downtown Kota Kinabalu, by trekking with different levels of trails. Gaya is the largest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

Take the 45-min trail from Base Camp to Padang Point for beginners. If you want a more challenging one, you may take the 3.25-km long trail from Base Camp to Police Beach.

Immerse yourself in the dipterocarp forest as well as a mangrove forest. See a great variety of wildlife, like hornbills, monkeys, wild boars and monitor lizards.

Relax at Police Beach on the northern coast. Its location on the far side of the island ensures plenty of privacy. Enjoy the tranquility of the beachfront hideaway.

Have a delicious BBQ lunch on the beach. Swim and snorkel at Pulau Sapi and soak your stress away.
