very impressed overall. great value. cable car is good, aqua park fabulous value and not nearly as busy as we expected. the slides were of a good standard. the park as a whole was much better than anticipated and so was the lunch (included with the ticket price). very good food considering it was being prepared on an industrial scale. a bit frustrating not being able to find a seat easily to sit down and eat, but other than that we found the whole day to be highly enjoyable, and of course, one of the highlights was the aqua show which we watched from Kiss Bridge.... phenomenal performance!
My junior high school son and I participated in this tour. In conclusion, it's a highly satisfying tour that offers a great experience at a reasonable price. Our tour guide was Wendy, who provided excellent leadership. She picked us up from our hotel by bus in the morning and contacted us via WhatsApp and LINE beforehand, which was reassuring. We arrived at the port and the transfer to the boat was smooth (there were no designated toilet breaks). The boat rocked quite a bit, so motion sickness medication is a must for those prone to seasickness (my son experienced seasickness for the first time on a boat and was completely defeated). Our first destination was a boat anchored in the shallow waters of a nearby island, where we could choose to do sea walking or fish and wait on the boat. We chose fishing. The fishing was done with simple fishing gear and squid tentacle pieces as bait, rather than a proper fishing rod. It was actually just right for beginners. There was no explanation of how to do it, so we just kind of dropped the line and enjoyed ourselves. About half the people remained on the boat, but only one fish was caught. It's probably best to think of it as a bonus. After everyone returned, we moved to the snorkeling spot at Gam Ngi Island. The snorkeling was fantastic, with lots of fish to see and the coral reefs close by. After snorkeling, we had lunch on the boat. Very Vietnamese! The menu was typical seaside cuisine, but not bad. Before arriving at the snorkeling spot, we were asked if we wanted to buy some extra shellfish, and if we did, they grilled them with green onions and nuts. After lunch, we moved from Gam Ngi Island to Hong Vong Island. We had about an hour of free time, during which we could do activities or just relax on the beach. The beach was small but beautiful, and I think you could have enjoyed it even from the beach if you had your snorkeling gear. The beach chairs cost money, but it wasn't too bad, and you just pay when they come to collect. There are cafes and restrooms, so it's a good idea to check them out. Finally, we moved to the fourth island for snorkeling. The coral reefs here were incredibly close, the water was crystal clear, and we were able to interact with lots of fish. After enjoying the experience to the fullest, we headed back to the port. You can have the same experience for half the price of what you would in Phuket, Thailand.
Celebrity restaurant, check-in first choice. Food quality is okay, price is acceptable, service quality is good, restaurant wide view, enjoy the sunset and a good place to dine. If you want to sit near the seaside location, it is recommended to book in advance. Restaurant location is slightly remote.
Last year, it took me an hour and a half to clear immigration at Noi Bai Airport. This time, I used the priority immigration procedure, was able to meet with staff immediately, and cleared immigration in about two minutes. It was stress-free, comfortable, and allowed me to make good use of my time.
