Tun Sakaran Marine Park: Sibuan, Mantabuan/Maiga Island and Bohey Dulang Hiking, Snorkeling and Diving Day Tour | Semporna, Sabah

Ocean Park has hiking trails, but I didn't have breakfast that day and didn't finish the hike XD. The warship area, however, offers snorkeling. You can go ashore and sunbathe on the beach; there are many jellyfish and fish, and the scenery is beautiful.

Mabul & Kapalai Island Snorkeling or Diving Day Tour | Semporna, Sabah
2026/06/02
The boat was at full capacity and passengers had to squeeze into their seats, which was rather uncomfortable for a journey of about an hour. First stop was Pulau Mabul. All passengers were told get off the boat and explore the island. Once we got off the boat we were charged an entrance fee of RM50/person, which was not conveyed to us earlier. Overall the resort had well designed chalets and was beautifully landscaped. However the snorkelling here had much to shout about. Next stop Pulau Kapalai. Here we were not allowed on the island. However the snorkelling was superb. We saw live coral, large variety of fishes including nemos and turtles as well as. And the crew were excellent. They were very friendly, patient and caring especially towards the elderly and the weak/inexperienced or non swimmers.
