It's a bit of a walk from the subway exit, so I suggest taking the train early. Use the restroom at the MRT station before heading to the hot air balloon ride.

This time I brought my parents to Seoul and signed up for this private charter tour. I was really satisfied! From the time we arrived at the hotel on time in the morning to pick us up, the service of the driver brother was very courteous, the cabin space was spacious and clean, very comfortable for the elderly. The Hanbok experience and the changing of the guard ceremony at Gyeongbokgung Palace were well arranged, and the driver was very attentive to telling us where to take the best photos. At noon, we arranged to have lunch at a famous restaurant recommended by Michelin. The quality of the food is very high, the taste is authentic and fresh, and my parents are very happy to eat. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Seng Shui Cave and went to a specialty Cafe. The driver was very familiar with the local environment and helped us save a lot of time finding our way. The most surprising thing was the final arrangement to get off at Guangzang Market! The driver brother sent us to the entrance of the market and gave us a brief introduction to the must-eats inside. We had the famous raw beef bibimbap and mung bean patties there, which was perfect as a summary of the day’s itinerary. Thank you very much to my driver for taking care of me throughout the day and being very patient with my parents. I definitely recommend this itinerary if you are looking for a relaxing trip around Seoul with your family!

The river cruise is definitely worth it; our family had a great time. The only downside was that we couldn't get tickets that included a buffet. Make sure you go to the Seoul Cruise, not the Eland Cruise. The CU instant noodle shop next to the pier is quite unique; consider allowing more time to explore the nearby Han River Park.
