Thanks to the sightseeing wagon, I was able to tour Oma efficiently. The guide was also very kind. The tuna was delicious, and I was able to buy a variety of souvenirs, so I'm very satisfied.
The exchange went very smoothly. I'm very grateful to the staff at JR Shin-Chitose Station for being so friendly and welcoming. They also recommended some delicious food in Otaru. It was very easy to use. Now that you buy it, you'll also get a free Hokkaido Amazing Pass. Self-guided travelers can really take advantage of it.
It was a perfect ferry experience, starting with waiting for the boat. You can take photos and check in at the port. There are restaurants and shopping areas on the first floor of the waiting area, all affordable. Once you get on board, the scenery is stunning: afternoon sunshine, a breeze on the deck, a view of the sea through the window, and a nap in the cabin. Everything is just right.
Totally worth it! The view from the tower is stunning — you can clearly see the unique star shape of Goryokaku and the seasonal colors make it even more beautiful. Super easy to use the e-ticket and a great spot for photos. Definitely a must-visit when in Hakodate!
