In this home-hosted cooking class, prepare everything from scratch: knead the dough, roll out yufka, layer it with walnut filling, simmer the syrup, and pour over melted clarified butter.

As the baklava turns golden in the oven, prepare a savory börek and a fresh meze like kısır or mercimek köftesi. Your host explains, “Baklava is a symbol of celebration in Türkiye; made with care, shared with love. That’s what we’ll do together.”
