Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Imlil Valley, Waterfall & Lunch｜Morocco

Discover the spectacular beauty of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains on a full-day Three Valleys tour from Marrakech. This immersive experience takes you through breathtaking mountain landscapes and traditional Amazigh communities, offering a wonderful combination of nature, culture, local traditions, and authentic Moroccan cuisine.

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and begin our journey towards the Atlas Mountains. As we leave the city behind, enjoy the changing scenery as the landscape gradually transforms into dramatic mountains, green valleys, and traditional villages.

Our first stop will be in the mountain region, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast featuring local products such as fresh bread, honey, olive oil, peanut butter, and Moroccan tea. We’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy refreshing mint tea in a traditional Berber setting and experience the warm hospitality of the local communities.

We’ll then continue towards the Asni Valley, passing through beautiful mountain landscapes and traditional villages. Depending on the day of your tour, you may also have the opportunity to visit one of the region’s traditional artisan markets. These lively local markets take place on Saturdays in Asni, where you can discover local products and observe an authentic part of everyday life in the Atlas Mountains.

After exploring the local area, we’ll set off on approximately 1.5 hours of hiking through the Atlas Mountains. Follow scenic mountain trails surrounded by spectacular views of valleys, villages, and mountain peaks. Along the way, we’ll reach beautiful waterfalls where you can relax, take photographs, and, weather and local conditions permitting, enjoy a refreshing swim.

After the hike, we’ll visit a traditional local setting for a delicious Moroccan lunch. Enjoy a variety of authentic dishes, including flavorful tajines, couscous, fresh salads, seasonal specialties, and traditional Moroccan mint tea.

Once lunch is finished, we’ll begin our return journey to Marrakech. Relax and enjoy the final panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains as we make our way back to the city.

After approximately 9 hours, the experience will come to an end with drop-off at your hotel in Marrakech
