Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkey Trekking – Return to Kigali
Begin at 4:30 am, with an early morning departure from Kigali towards the spectacular Volcanoes National Park. Passing through the Beauty of Rwanda's Landscape.
After a briefing from expert park guides, venture into the lush bamboo forest in search of the endangered golden monkeys. Unlike many wildlife experiences, these lively primates are incredibly playful, curious, and often remain close to visitors, offering fantastic opportunities for photography. Watch them leap effortlessly from bamboo to bamboo, feed on fresh shoots, groom one another, and entertain the forest with their endless energy.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park – Return to Kigali

After a briefing from experienced park guides, enter the ancient rainforest as the forest slowly awakens. Listen carefully... before you even see them, you'll hear the loud calls and excited screams of wild chimpanzees echoing through the trees.
Follow your guides deeper into the forest until suddenly you come face-to-face with these remarkable primates. Watch them swing effortlessly through the canopy, race across tree branches, communicate with one another, care for their young, and display astonishingly human-like behavior that never fails to amaze visitors.
Nyungwe is also home to more than 13 species of primates, hundreds of colorful bird species, butterflies, giant trees, orchids, and countless hidden forest wonders.
