Product Info

Enjoy an authentic cultural experience combining nature, gastronomy, and local traditions on this sightseeing tour from Antigua.

The adventure begins with a departure from Antigua to a renowned macadamia farm, where you will learn about the process of cultivation, production, and benefits of this nut, as well as enjoy a guided visit of the farm.

Then, you'll continue on to the picturesque town of San Antonio Aguas Calientes, known for its rich culture and textile tradition. There, you'll take part in a local experience where you'll join a hands-on culinary workshop.

You'll learn how to prepare pepian, one of the most representative dishes of Guatemala, using traditional methods such as clay pots and a wood fire. While the food is cooking, you'll learn more about local textiles, their meanings, and ancestral techniques, followed by a visit to a community store.

Finally, you'll enjoy a food tasting of the dish you prepared before returning to Antigua.
