Itinerary:

• National Museum of Slavery:
Founded in 1977, in a chapel on Morro da Cruz where enslaved people were baptized before embarkation. It preserves artifacts, documents, and stories of the transatlantic slave trade, anchoring the day in memory, resilience, and raw history.

• Miradouro da Lua (Moon Viewpoint):
Next we pause at this extraordinary viewpoint: dramatic lunar-like cliffs carved by water and wind over centuries. It’s one of Angola’s most visited tourist sites.

• Cabo Ledo Beach:
After the Miradouro, we head to Cabo Ledo, around 120 km from Luanda, for a full beach day. White sands, clear Atlantic waves, and rocky promontories define the coast. Even if you don’t surf, the beach is perfect for sun, relaxation, swimming, walking along the shoreline, and relaxing under palms.

• Lunch – Fresh Seafood & Local Flavours:
Midday, we pause for lunch by the sea. You’ll be able to taste Angola’s coastal cuisine: fresh fish, shellfish, maybe grilled prawns, and local sides. This is where the ocean’s produce meets local cooking.

• Praia dos Surfistas & Local Village Life:
After lunch, explore more of Praia dos Surfistas: observe the locals, fishermen returning with catch, children playing, nets being mended. The slow rhythms of village life contrast beautifully with the crashing waves.

• Viewpoint of Cabo Ledo:
Before the day ends, climb to a viewpoint overlooking Cabo Ledo, where cliffs drop towards the sea and sunset paints everything golden. The vistas are unforgettable, the light soft, the atmosphere relaxed. Perfect moment for reflection, photography, and soaking the beauty of the day.
