Due to the significant impact of weather in Northeast China, if heavy snow leads to highway closures, the itinerary will be adjusted to rail transport. The specific transportation methods and cost arrangements are as follows:
Scenario 1: Road closure in both directions for the entire journey
You will need to arrive at Harbin Station on your own to take the train. Staff will meet you at Yabuli Railway Station to continue the group itinerary. At the end of the tour, staff will drop you off at Yabuli Railway Station, where you will take the train back to Harbin on your own, and the group will disperse upon arrival.
1. Regular train (3.5 hours): If a regular train hard seat is arranged, the round-trip ticket cost will be covered by the travel agency.
2. High-speed train (1.5 hours): If a high-speed train second-class seat is arranged, you may entrust the travel agency to purchase it on your behalf. You will be responsible for the price difference between the high-speed train second-class seat and the regular train hard seat, which will be collected by staff on-site (estimated price difference: 38.5 CNY/person one-way, 77 CNY/person round-trip).
Special note: If second-class tickets for the outbound journey are sold out, you will be upgraded to a first-class seat. You will need to pay the price difference between the first-class seat and the regular train ticket (estimated price difference: 83.5 CNY/person one-way, 167 CNY/person round-trip).
Scenario 2: One-way road closure
If the road is closed for the outbound journey: You will need to arrive at Harbin Station on your own to take the train. Staff will meet you at Yabuli Railway Station to continue the group itinerary. For the return journey, you will travel by tour bus and disperse at the designated location.
If the road is closed for the return journey: You will gather at the notified time for the outbound journey and travel by tour bus. At the end of the tour, staff will drop you off at Yabuli Railway Station, where you will take the train back to Harbin on your own, and the group will disperse upon arrival.
1. Regular train (3.5 hours): If a regular train hard seat is arranged, the one-way ticket cost will be covered by the travel agency.
2. High-speed train (1.5 hours): If a high-speed train second-class seat is arranged, you may entrust the travel agency to purchase it on your behalf. You will be responsible for the price difference between the high-speed train second-class seat and the regular train hard seat, which will be collected by staff on-site (estimated price difference: 38.5 CNY/person one-way).
Special note: If second-class tickets for the outbound journey are sold out, you will be upgraded to a first-class seat. You will need to pay the price difference between the first-class seat and the regular train ticket (estimated price difference: 83.5 CNY/person one-way).
Travelers holding a passport or a Permit for Travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao must provide a photo of the document's information page to purchase high-speed train tickets. Please send your order number and the photos of the information pages for all travelers to the supplier's email address provided on your confirmation voucher as soon as your order is confirmed.
Please arrive at the pick-up point at the time agreed upon with the tour staff. Do not be late, so as not to delay the itinerary for yourself and other travelers.
Original ID cards, passports, or travel permits for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan must be presented for entry into all attractions. Please ensure you carry the documents registered at the time of booking. Travelers must provide accurate registration information (name, ID number, etc.) to avoid unnecessary losses.
If you qualify for the current free admission policy at any attraction, the ticket refund will not be based on the attraction's listed price. Instead, the refundable amount will be calculated according to the travel agency's group discount policy.
The farmhouse homestay features traditional kang beds, generally in 4-6 person rooms. Genders are separated, and you will share the room with others of the same gender. Disposable toiletries are not provided, so please bring your own.
For single travelers, we will do our best to arrange a shared room with other travelers. If this is not possible, you will need to pay a single room supplement (depending on the low/peak season, the cost is approximately 150-600 CNY). If a traveler chooses not to share a room, they must pay the single room supplement.
Children's height at attractions is measured with shoes on, not their actual height. Please keep this in mind when booking. If, upon arrival at the attraction, the measured height exceeds the limit for discounted tickets, you will need to purchase a ticket on-site. The on-site ticket purchase process can be cumbersome and may affect the overall progress of the group tour; thank you for your understanding.
The return time may be delayed due to weather conditions, so please do not book other activities on the day of your return.
Transportation costs to reach the meeting point, transportation back to your hotel after the tour disperses, or local transportation costs to your hotel or airport after arriving at the train station (in the event of a train transfer due to snow) are at your own expense.
The agency is not responsible for any losses arising from force majeure (such as boat schedules, weather, flight issues, etc.).
Clothing: During winter travel in Northeast China, temperatures along the route are low, ranging from 0°C to -20°C, and can reach below -30°C in some areas. The temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is significant, so it is recommended to choose loose-fitting clothing that is easy to put on and take off. The climate in the Northeast is dry, and both indoors and on tour buses are heated, so it will not feel excessively cold. A down jacket, sweater, and thermal underwear are generally sufficient, except at ski resorts. Keeping your feet warm is particularly important; it is recommended to prepare a pair of thick-soled, non-slip winter boots. You may want to choose a size slightly larger than usual to accommodate thermal insoles or thick socks. Also, wear soft, warm gloves, a scarf, and a winter hat or earmuffs. If you want to take great photos, you can bring several hats in different styles and colors, which you can also swap with fellow travelers. If you find it inconvenient to carry these items, you can purchase affordable and high-quality cold-weather gear at your first stop in the Northeast, where there is a wide variety of materials and types available.
Alpine Skiing: Skiing is an exciting experience, but it carries risks for unprepared beginners. Please assess your own condition and act within your capabilities. Skiing consumes a lot of energy; it is recommended to have some chocolate and water before you start. Be sure to warm up your joints and stretch before skiing. When walking on icy or snowy ground, keep your knees slightly bent and your center of gravity forward to avoid slipping. Read the ski resort's guidelines carefully before skiing, understand the relevant rules, and learn basic techniques from an instructor. During skiing, please follow the staff's instructions and do not enter forests or advanced ski slopes without authorization. Most skiing activities in the itinerary are located in forest areas; travelers must be mindful of fire safety, and smoking in the wild is strictly prohibited.
Eye Protection: In the northern winter, snow cover is deep and the reflection from the snow is strong. Be sure to wear sunglasses when going out to protect your eyes and prevent snow blindness caused by sunlight reflecting off the snow.
There are often private vendors selling goods at the entrance and within the park. The quality of these products varies, so please exercise caution when making purchases and remember to request a receipt. Do not easily trust mobile vendors along the way or promotional offers at supermarkets along the route to avoid unnecessary consumption losses. Any purchases made in these locations are strictly personal actions and are unrelated to the travel agency.
Please keep your personal belongings safe. Carry your identification documents and valuables with you at all times; do not leave them with others or leave them in the vehicle or your room. The travel agency will not be held responsible for any loss. During free time, please be sure to pay attention to your personal safety and the security of your belongings.
During the tour, please do not linger excessively in attractions or shopping areas, which may cause you to fall behind or cause delays. Please cooperate with the tour leader's arrangements, arrive at the designated meeting point on time to board the vehicle, and do not wander off alone to avoid delaying the overall itinerary.
A minimum of 2 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 2 day(s) before the departure date
