We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes before your kayak session commences, so that we can get you fitted with the right sized PFD and paddle.
Restrictions
Kayaking with Kayak Noosa is an accessible and inclusive experience (for 10 years and above). No matter your ability level or water skills, we have a program perfect for everyone. If you are nervous about your ability level or have a special need, get in touch with us to see how we can best accommodate you.
Kayaking with Kayak Noosa is extremely safe with our highly trained and fully qualified instructors. While paddling, we stay in calm water don't require a minimum swimming ability.

If you are keen to get back into the water to progress your kayaking skills and see more of the breathtaking natural scenery of the Noosa River, you can choose to:
- Join us for our WoW (Women on Water) 1 hour social kayak program
- Join us for a WoW (Women on Water) Adventure for 2 hours to fully immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the Noosa River.

Disclaimers
- Kayak Noosa bookings require payment in advance to secure the booking. Bookings can be made via the Go Ride A Wave and Kayak Noosa website, by phone or online.
- Kayaking programs will not be cancelled due to rain, but maybe cancelled if the conditions are deemed to be dangerous.
- All customers will be given a refund or a credit if the session is cancelled.
- Refunds will be given to clients if they cancel their session, and providing they give at least 24 hours notice. If clients fail to arrive or cancel on the day, then they will forfeit their payment.
- All customers must complete and sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form prior to each class.
- Go Ride A Wave and Kayak Noosa requests Gift Vouchers are redeemed within one year of issue, but we are happy to extend and do not impose Gift Voucher expiration dates, so you can be confident your gift will have an opportunity to be used.

We offer a range of kayak programs suitable for all skill levels including: Intro to Kayaking Program; WoW Kayak Program; WoW (Women on Water) Adventure; Group Kayak Program, Self-Guided Kayak Tour; or Guided Mangroves and Mansions Tour.
Is Kayaking Safe?
Yes, Kayaking on the Noosa River is extremely safe with our highly trained and fully qualified lifeguard staff. We use safe, quality kayaks and paddle in calm waters.
What ages do you cater to?
Anyone from 10 years and over are welcome on all Kayak Noosa programs.
I'm part of a Group (over 10 pax); how do I book?
At Kayak Noosa, we are the group activity specialists. We offer a full range of coastal activities for groups of all types, including Group Kayak programs. Call us for more information and to make a booking.
Does Go Ride A Wave and Kayak Noosa have insurance?
Yes, Go Ride A Wave and Kayak Noosa have $20m Public Liability insurance $5m Professional indemnity. If you are wanting personal accidental cover, we suggest to take out personal travel insurance.
