DOLPHINS LIVE RIGHT HERE! With the 2 hour Kayak Hilton Head nature tour you'll embark on a dolphin kayaking nature excursion in the heart of Hilton Head's favorite dolphin feeding area. Explore the island's beautiful salt marsh estuary where dolphins feed, play and relax. Manatee can be seen in the warmer months of the year, bald eagles live in the surrounding communities and come to feed in the estuary, sea turtles and otter hide but occasionally make a quick showing and lots of fun can be had with your family as you enjoy exploring the inland calm waters of Hilton Head Island. All levels of experience are welcome as kayaks are safe and stable for this beginner friendly area. We have single kayaks for ages 13 and above or tandem and triple kayaks if there are kids in the group. Double kayaks are fine to easily fit two adults as well. Private Tours are 2 hours and 15 minutes. Don't worry though, it's at a recreational pace so all levels are welcome. Meet your guide at check-in and receive your safety briefing, paddle and life jacket. Then, set off on your kayaking adventure. Paddle through the waterways of Hilton Head Island and learn about the island's ecology and history from your guide. Often female dolphins are seen in the area with the babies which is always an extra special treat. Spot other wildlife such as manatee, otter, mink, and sea turtles if you're lucky.

It's a beginner friendly activity as the waters of Hilton Head are generally very calm. Families with kids are welcome. Especially in the summer months we see many kids on summer break and kids as young as two or three years old join us quite often. All ages love the dolphins! Kids 12 and under ride in a double kayak with an adult. Triple kayaks are available as well if your family has more kids than adults. Teenagers and adults can have a kayak of their own or can double up and ride together as the double kayaks not only fit an adult and child but also have sizes for 2 adults.

It's a very cool experience to paddle side by side with a pod of dolphins and often the close up dolphin sightings are the highlight of your vacation. The dolphins are wild animals and therefore we cannot guarantee dolphins on every tour but during the warmer months of the year percentages of seeing dolphins is 90% or better. Come join the fun!
