Embark on an approximately 4- to 6-hour self-guided descent, at your own pace, along a spectacular stretch of the river. Amid valleys of clay and sand, forests, and natural beaches, let the current carry you along and discover the wild and unspoiled natural beauty that is unique to Charlevoix. As you follow the river, you will also pass through a more rural area and the charming village of Baie-Saint-Paul, adding a picturesque touch to your adventure.

Your experience is made easy by a rental service supported by a shuttle: you are transported to the departure point, and each descent is made safe by the presence of a kayak patrol. You can choose between single or double recreational kayaks, and a waterproof bag is provided to protect your personal belongings.

We recommend that you bring your own lunch so you can make the most of the many beaches accessible along the route—ideal stops for a picnic by the water.
