Product Info

We'll start by driving you to a grocery store, on the way, we'll play curated content to set you up for fishing success. It doesn't matter whether you've fished or not as we'll give instructions. At the grocery store, we'll pick up supplies for our gas powered BBQ later in the day. Once we arrive at the lake, we'll be driven to the grounds on a skidoo. We use two huts, an eight person and a six person. Both are heated, and it doesn't matter whether you're in a group or travelling alone as we'll facilitate a fun experience. We'll set you up with rods, line, bait, underwater cameras, hooks, and a stove. We'll bring cookware, hot drinks, and paraphernalia to have a BBQ on the middle of a frozen lake.

Most visitors catch Yellow Perch, however sometimes a herring, smelt, or lake trout might appear. Less than more. If the catch is within guidelines, you can take it home as part of your license.

At the end of the day, we'll whisk you back to Toronto. We often get asked if it will be warm enough - yes! The huts are heated so you could strip down to a T-shirt, even if it's -20c outside. We also get asked if a fishing license is required - yes! While we don't police it, a fishing license is required to avoid a ticket. Licenses are not required on the Family day long weekend.

This experience starts and ends at Yorkdale TTC passenger pick up. We use this location for it's easy accessibility by public transit and then it's ease to get onto the major highways.
