[Where is it?] A 1-minute walk from the Akihabara Station Electric Town Exit, right in the heart of Akihabara, the mecca of anime and electronics. [Who is it for?] Perfect for those who have never touched a deck of cards, those who have been inspired by poker in movies or anime, and tourists looking for a unique, quintessentially Japanese experience. Anyone 18 or older is welcome to join. [How does it work?] Upon arrival, a maid dealer will provide a thorough lesson on the rules, hands, and flow of the game. Afterward, you will play for real at a table using game chips. Those interested can also challenge themselves in daily tournaments (additional fee applies). Admission is 2,000 JPY, which includes all-you-can-drink soft drinks and no time limit. As long as you do not lose your chips in the game, you can play for as many hours as you like for free. On the 22nd of every month, all-you-can-drink alcohol is also available from opening until closing. Beginner lessons are free.
