Your day begins with an optional visit to one of the island’s top wineries, nestled in the heart of Crete. Here, you can add a tasting experience to savour distinctive local varieties and learn the stories and traditions that shape Cretan wine.

Next, you'll travel to the village of Matala, once a haven for the hippie community of the 1960s and 70s. Its free-spirited past still lingers in the colourful alleys, relaxed atmosphere, and iconic beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim, soak in the laid-back vibe, or step inside the cliffside caves where the hippies once lived.

A traditional Cretan lunch follows in a local taverna, prepared with fresh regional ingredients and accompanied by wine.

The experience concludes with a scenic route that showcases the diverse landscapes of southern Crete. This tour blends local flavours, wine culture, nature and Cretan hospitality into one memorable day.
