The Dark Night Watching event is a special, limited-time offering held after the aquarium's regular operating hours. A key feature, the Antarctic Krill Bioluminescence Experiment, begins at 6:30 PM. Visitors should plan to arrive before this time to fully immerse themselves in the unique nocturnal atmosphere.
This special event focuses on observing the nocturnal habits and behaviors of the creatures. You can expect to see various aquatic animals in a different light, literally, as they behave uniquely after dark, offering insights into their nighttime lives that are not visible during regular daytime visits.
From 6:30 PM, visitors have the special opportunity to participate in the 'Antarctic Krill Bioluminescence Experiment.' This hands-on activity allows you to learn about and experience the fascinating phenomenon of bioluminescence exhibited by Antarctic krill, a highlight of the night event.
During the Dark Night Watching event, the aquarium interior is intentionally dim. Visitors are provided with flashlights to navigate through the darkened halls.
