Have a layover at Schiphol airport and fancy a quick jaunt to Amsterdam? Then this private guided tour is the ideal way to squeeze every drop of enjoyment from your fleeting visit. And which better way to get under the skin of this incredible city than with a local who knows it inside out?

Your adventure will begin when you want it to, anytime between 08:00 and 22:00. The itinerary will be tailored to your preferences, ensuring you see the highlights that most tickle your fancy. Whether it's the bustling Dam Square, the fragrant Flower Market or the historic Jewish quarter, every corner of Amsterdam has its own story to tell.

Transportation within the city will be either on foot or by public transport. You'll immersively experience the city as locals do. The atmosphere during the tour will be always cosy and friendly, with plenty of opportunities for interaction, questions, and laughter. By the end of our tour, you'll have a deeper understanding and love for this amazing city.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Get picked up by your guide at Schipol and reach Amsterdam by train. Otherwise, you can meet with them directly in the city centre at Beursplein 1, in front of Bistro Berlage, at the gold Sherlocked sign (option selected at check-out). The guide will be holding a sign with "Guidance" written on it.

  • Extra fees to be paid on site:You can choose between being picked up by your guide from Schipol and reach Amsterdam together by train or to meet with them directly in the city centre (your option is to be selected in the calendar). Please note that train tickets aren't included in the tour's price and will cost you around €10 more per person for a return ticket

  • Other potential public transportation tickets aren't included as well. Costs vary from €5 to €10 per person. While most of the city can be explored on foot, if you wish to visit areas further out of the city centre, it may be more convenient to use public transport

  • Also, admission tickets for museums or attractions aren't included. Costs typically range between €10 and €25 per person and are only applicable if you choose to visit them, as museum visits aren't part of the standard itinerary

  • Know in advance:Maximum capacity for this private tour is of 8 people

  • This tour includes free luggage storage

  • Being a private tour, the itinerary can be tailored to your preferences

  • Remember to bring:A valid visa to visit Amsterdam
