  • Not allowed:The entry of animals into Edinburgh Castle is prohibited except for assistance dogs. Suitcases and large rucksacks are not allowed in Edinburgh Castle

  • Know in advance:Not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart conditions, or other serious medical issues
