Climb aboard a historic motorized bragozzo, a traditional lagoon boat that has been expertly restored and once sailed these waters carrying goods and stories. Today, it welcomes you for an evocative journey into the heart of Venice and its southern lagoon.
Departure is from Giudecca or the Zattere, places that are already full of charm and history. The tour begins along the Giudecca Canal, with the Venetian skyline unfolding before you: domes, bell towers and facades reflected in the water. After a few minutes, here's the first stop: we'll pause in front of the St. Mark's basin, the quintessential vantage point. Here you can take breathtaking photos of St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, the Bell Tower and the Basilica, which stand out elegantly above the sea. The perfect moment to immerse yourself in the iconic beauty of the city.
We then head south, leaving the monumental heart behind to enter a quieter lagoon, almost frozen in time. We will sail around the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, dominated by the imposing church designed by Palladio, and we will approach San Clemente, now an elegant island-resort, once a place of hospitality and spirituality.
