Product Info

Meet and greet everywhere in Naples or Salerno (city/station/port)
- to go on the Mt. Vesuvius Crater excursion for 1 hour, reach the "mouth of the volcano" and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples and its islands.
- After that, we will drive to the Herculaneum ruins* to see for 90 minutes and Pompeii Ruins* for 2 hours. Both ancient Roman towns were destroyed and buried under ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Today, they offer authentic evidence of Roman culture, lifestyle, and architecture, like a journey into the past.
(During the day, we can also stop for a quick lunch, optionally)
- After that, we will return to the starting location in 8 hours.

*We highly recommend hiring a private guide to lead you through the ruins for a better experience. If interested, ask in the note

--- Mt Vesuvius Crater, Herculaneum and Pompeii tickets are not included.
There is no ticket office on Mt. Vesuvius, and you can only buy tickets online (we will explain how) ---
