Tibet is a special autonomous region, and the government has the right to open or close tourist attractions at any time. In the event of force majeure (weather, road conditions, political factors) that cause changes to the itinerary, the travel agency has the right to change the itinerary, and any additional costs incurred shall be borne by the participants.
Insurance details: Travel liability insurance of 5 million + 200,000 accidental medical expenses. Large baggage travel instructions: If you have large baggage, each passenger is limited to one suitcase. Most airlines limit checked baggage to 20 kg (although there are no strict size restrictions, it is recommended to use a 20 to 23-inch suitcase).
Please confirm whether the tour will proceed 10 days in advance. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the trip will be cancelled.
Reminders
Tibet is a special autonomous region, and the government has the right to open or close tourist attractions at any time. If an attraction is closed, we will discuss with the group members as soon as possible after receiving the notification and provide alternative solutions.
If the government temporarily requisitions hotels or Qinghai-Tibet Railway carriages, hotels of the same standard will be provided and the most appropriate alternative will be arranged.
If the itinerary is changed due to the participant's own reasons, any additional costs incurred shall be borne by the participant. In the event of force majeure (weather, road conditions, political factors) causing itinerary changes, the travel agency reserves the right to modify the itinerary and will endeavor to provide alternative solutions.
Tibet has unique climatic conditions. Due to long hours of driving at high altitudes and crossing high mountains, there is a possibility of vehicle breakdowns or repairs being arranged along the way. The travel agency promises to quickly arrange appropriate solutions in the event of such emergencies. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Potala Palace tickets are sold in advance and have time limits. The itinerary will be flexibly adjusted according to the actual reservation time. Security checks are required to enter the Potala Palace. Dangerous items are not allowed, and photography is prohibited inside.
At Everest Base Camp, at an altitude of 5200 meters, headaches and difficulty falling asleep at night are normal. Please slow down and relax; the symptoms will usually subside gradually. If the symptoms worsen, please inform your tour guide or doctor immediately.
Accommodation at Everest Base Camp is in the tent area (if it is not open, we will upgrade to stay at the Everest Town Inn).
Team Doctor's Note: On the first day of arrival in Lhasa, a doctor will conduct a basic health check for each traveler. For groups of 10 or more, a doctor will accompany the group to provide care. The route is Lhasa-Shigatse-Everest Base Camp-Shigatse.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 31 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 21 to 30 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
- For cancellations made 11 to 20 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 4 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 70% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
