The quality grades of Omi beef are mainly classified according to the standards set by the Japan Meat Grading Association, assessing its 'meat quality grade' and 'yield grade'. The 'meat quality grade' is graded from 1 to 5, considering factors such as marbling, meat color and luster, firmness, and texture. 'Grade 4 and above' mentioned in the product indicates that its marbling, meat color, and meat quality meet excellent standards, ensuring you can savor high-quality Omi beef.
When enjoying Omi beef teppanyaki in Shiga, you can experience its uniquely delicate texture and rich marbling that melts in your mouth. As it is 'Grade 4 and above' Omi beef, the flavor is even richer and sweeter. Cooked teppanyaki-style right in front of you by a professional chef, it maintains the meat's best freshness and texture, offering a dual feast for your eyes and palate, allowing you to savor the ultimate deliciousness of Omi beef.
The wisteria trellises at Tenno River Park typically enter their best viewing period in spring. According to the itinerary, departure dates are concentrated in mid to late April (e.g., April 16, 17, 19, 27), indicating this is an excellent time to admire the magnificent wisteria. At that time, you will see a sea of wisteria cascading like a purple waterfall, experiencing its unique romantic ambiance.
In addition to the spectacular wisteria trellises, Tenno River Park also offers other seasonal spring flowers. The park features a tunnel formed by approximately 1,000 double-flowered cherry trees, as well as a large field of golden rapeseed flowers. These flowers bloom together with the wisteria, presenting visitors with a colorful spring floral landscape and an excellent opportunity to admire multiple spring blooms simultaneously.
The wisteria trellises at Tenno River Park are renowned for their magnificent 'Japan's Best' scale, acclaimed as a breathtaking landscape akin to purple curtains. Its characteristic feature is the cascading wisteria clusters, forming a vast and dense sea of purple that is visually stunning. Although specific historical background is not detailed, its scale and beauty make it a popular spot for spring flower viewing, attracting numerous visitors.
Considering this itinerary is a bus tour departing from Osaka (Umeda) or Kyoto, the most convenient method is to join such a package tour. The bus will pick you up from designated locations (like Umeda or Kyoto) and take you directly to Tenno River Park and other attractions, eliminating the hassle of planning your own transportation routes and transfers, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable day trip.
When admiring the double-flowered cherry blossoms at Tenno River Park, it is recommended to pay special attention to the 'cherry blossom tunnel' landscape; when a thousand double-flowered cherry trees are in full bloom, they form a beautiful pink floral corridor. The highlight of the rapeseed flower fields lies in their vast expanse of 'golden yellow'; you can walk along the paths beside the flower fields and experience being surrounded by the sea of flowers. These are all beautiful spring scenes perfect for taking memorable photos.
The 'Grade 4 and above' mentioned in the Omi beef teppanyaki lunch refers to beef quality that has reached the fourth grade or higher according to the grading standards of the Japan Meat Grading Association. This signifies that the beef has fine and even marbling (simmering), bright meat color, good luster, and firm, delicate texture. Omi beef that meets this standard, when cooked, exhibits a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich juices with excellent flavor, guaranteeing high quality.
