Product Info

Daily departures in winter, bookable from 1 person, multiple languages and time slots available, with options for transfer-inclusive packages! Iceland experiences frequent extreme weather; for your safety, we will notify you in advance of any cancellations due to extreme conditions, allowing for free refunds or rescheduling! Please be aware of this. 

Once all passengers have gathered, we will leave the city's light pollution behind and head into the Icelandic countryside to welcome this mysterious natural wonder. The route may pass by the Aurora Reykjavik Center, but we will not be visiting it. 

Unlike other tour groups, our itinerary has no fixed route. After departing from Reykjavik, we will drive for no more than 90 minutes to find the best spot for viewing the Northern Lights. Before departure, the guide will select the optimal viewing location based on the day's Aurora forecast and cloud cover maps. Along the way, the guide will share stories and knowledge about the Northern Lights and Iceland.

When we reach the most suitable location, while waiting for the Northern Lights, the guide will provide photography tips to help you capture the beautiful Aurora moments with the best camera settings. Chasing the Northern Lights requires patience, and you may need to wait for a while on cold nights. The guide will provide complimentary hot chocolate and light snacks to keep you warm while you wait. 

We hope to see the Aurora at the first stop, but if natural conditions do not cooperate, we may head to other locations to continue our search, doing our utmost to fulfill your Aurora dream. 

Although we have Aurora and weather forecasts and our guides are highly professional, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and may occasionally be missed. If you do not see the Northern Lights during your tour, we will provide you with a free re-run! Your guide will explain how to rebook. The re-run offer is valid for three years from your original departure date. 

After the night ends, we will drop you off at the same location where you were picked up in Reykjavik.

  • A minimum of 5 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 1 day(s) before the departure date

  • Travelers with the following conditions or other health issues that could be worsened by excessive stimulation should not participate in this activity: High blood pressure, Heart disease, Acrophobia, Asthma, Epilepsy, Pregnant women

  • Please arrive at the designated location 30 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
