Naniwa Shuzo is located in Hannan City, Osaka. Founded in 1716, it is the oldest traditional sake brewery in Osaka. The brewery building is designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. Within this historic traditional house, the brewery continues to preserve traditional brewing techniques passed down for over 300 years. Through the changing seasons and the exquisite skills of the craftsmen, this historic building continues to carry on the history, culture, and pride of the local people of Osaka.
