Camp in safari style tents in the Zoo and wake up to spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Guests will enjoy refreshments and nibbles at the beautiful harbour-side campsite.
Guests will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner before a walk through the Zoo on a night safari – an opportunity to experience the zoo with only an intimate group of fellow Roar & Snore and Snore guests.
At the end of the evening, settle into your purpose-built tent and drift off the sounds of the wild. Roar and Snore guests can expect an early start, rise and shine to a continental breakfast with a view and the opportunity to get up close to some of our favourite animals.

What You Can Expect
1 Day
- 17:45Arrival and Welcome Tea: On the night of your Roar and Snore adventure, your hosts will meet you at Taronga Zoo Sydney main entrance. Check-in commences from 5:30pm with the program kicking off at 6:00pm
- 18:30Twilight Walk: Follow your hosts through the Zoo grounds to arrive at your comfortable safari-style tents.
- 19:00Enjoy canapes and drinks and a delicious buffet dinner as you take in the magnificent view of Sydney Harbour. Guests will experience a Night Safari through the Zoo let by expert guides with the chance to see some of Taronga's favourite animals. Our safari varies by day but every guest will be sure to experience some incredible animal opportunities
- 20:00Walk to dinner: A short journey through the Zoo grounds to your dinner location
- 20:15Buffet dinner served : Adventuring is hungry work! Fuel up with a delicious buffet dinner before heading out on a night excursion through the Zoo
- 21:00Zoo Night Safari - Enjoy the animals and harbour Views
- 22:00Return to campsite: Unwind in our comfortable safari-style tents, falling asleep to the sounds of the Zoo. Roar and Snore's tented camp is like being on safari with some of the most spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Shared bathroom facilities are available

- 06:45Rise and shine: Wake up with the sun and get ready for two incredible behind the scenes experiences
- 07:15You will be guided from the campsite to your first behind the scenes!
- 07:30Behind the scenes experiences: At Taronga Zoo’s Roar and Snore, we bring animals, keepers and our guests together, so you can learn the untold stories of the world’s greatest creatures, both big and small
- 08:00Breakfast: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and get ready for the day ahead
- 09:30Program finishes: Your Roar and Snore experience has come to an end but the adventure is not over and there is still lots of animals to discover. You can enjoy a full day access to the Zoo included in your Roar and Snore stay (the luggage can be stored upon request)

- All children must be over the age of 5 to attend
- Some nights are adults only whereby guests must be a minimum of 18 years old to attend
- Kindly be informed that this Roar and Snore experience is an all-weather program, kindly prepare for any inclement weather
- Guests must be 18 years or over to be served alcohol and must carry a valid ID. And no additional alcohol may be brought onto the Zoo premises
- The itinerary is for reference only, and subject to change without notice. On arrival travellers will be provided with the confirmed itinerary for their stay
- All Roar and Snore bookings are final. Cancellations and date changes are not possible, and payments are non-refundable

- Refillable water bottle
- Appropriate and comfortable footwear for walking around the Zoo (Heels, sandals and thongs are not recommended for the walking part)
- Wet-weather gear if required
- Guests luggage will be taken to their tent, please bring a small day pack for anything you may need before reaching the campsite

Flash photography and smoking is prohibited in the zoo
Travellers are responsible to secure their belongings at all times. No responsibility is taken by the Zoo for personal injury, damage to or loss of property or whilst undertaking in programmed park activities
Taronga reserves the right to cancel Roar and Snore at any time due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or insufficient demand. Whenever possible, guests will be notified in advance and dates re-scheduled, or full payment will be credited

Cancellation Policy
- Once the order has been completed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
