The walk in Kamikochi is within 30 minutes from Kappabashi Bridge, and extends west to Tashirobashi Bridge, and east to the midpoint between Kappabashi Bridge and Myojinike Pond. Large luggage can be stored on the tour bus.

The same tourist bus will take you from Ogizawa Station to Tateyama Station. You can leave your large luggage on the bus.

However, you will not be able to return to retrieve your luggage while on the alpine route, so please pack any luggage you will need for your walk (valuables, rain gear, warm clothing, etc.) as small as possible and be sure to bring it with you as carry-on luggage.
