What if I have a problem with Internet access?
- For iPhone users, set your APN (Access Point Name) to “e-ideas” in your phone’s internet settings. For Android users, set your APN (Access Point Name) to “hicard” in your phone’s internet settings.
Where can I find Singtel WiFi hotspot locations?
- You can seamlessly connect from 4G to Singtel WiFi for your internet usage at places such as popular shopping malls, MRT stations, Food Republic, and McDonald's restaurants
How do I use data overseas?
- DataRoam, which is bundled with your hi!Tourist SIM, is activated immediately upon registration of SIM card and is valid for use before the expiration date. If you need more data overseas, you can go to hi!App to purchase hi!DataRoam Plans.
- Step 1: After successfully purchasing on hi!App, go to the Balance page to check your roaming data details. Pack must be activated within 30 days from purchase.
- Step 2: Before arriving at the destination, click the ACTIVATE button to activate the roaming data pack. WiFi connection is required to connect to hi!App if you are already overseas. “Activation Successful” message will be shown.
- Step 3: After activation, check your roaming data balance and expiry time on the Balance page.
- When ready to use at the destination country, enable Mobile Data & Data Roaming on your device. For both iPhone & Android users, set your APN *to “hicard” in your phone’s internet settings.

- Registration for a SIM card is required, and it will be activated upon collection. Note: If you're having trouble it with registering, you may ask for assistance at the counter. The staff will help with the SIM card registration after the voucher is redeemed. Once the voucher has been utilized, the SIM card will be activated right away.
- As of 1 April 2014, a customer may only register a maximum of three prepaid SIM cards.
- At the collection station, the SIM card registrant must be at least 15 years old.
