Meet your Aboriginal local guide and make your way to Injalak Hill. Take in the breathtaking view from its peak. Looking out across floodplains and around the escarpment, Injalak Hill is also home to some of the best examples of ancient rock art in Australia.Hear about ancient Yolngu Dreamtime stories, then make your way to the award-winning Aboriginal-owned non-profit Injalak Art & Craft Centre to watch traditional people painting or pandanus basket weaving. Browse the art and don't hesitate to bring home some pieces as a remembrance of your time in Arnhem Land.

- Tour involves walking over uneven surfaces and sandy rocks. Extreme care needs to be taken and a level of agility is required to enjoy and make the most of the experience
- Travelers are encouraged to wear comfortable closed walking shoes and light, comfortable clothing, and bring their own water bottles, hats, sun protection, and insect repellent
- Travelers may bring their cameras, binoculars, personal medication, and cash for souvenirs
- Access to Arnhem Land is by invitation by the local Aboriginal people, and the traditional owners may deny access at any time
- Injalak Arts & Crafts centre is closed on Sundays, some public holidays, and very occasionally for ceremonial reasons
