From January to April, the Cafe at Hyatt Regency TST presents a brand-new Japanese-themed buffet. Our culinary team prepares a series of authentic Japanese delicacies at the open kitchens using the freshest ingredients to welcome the new year.

Appetizers include Chuka Wakame (Seaweed Salad) and Takowasa (Wasabi Octopus Salad). For sashimi, we feature Red Shrimp (Akapi), Tuna, Herring, and Salmon. A highlight of our sushi selection is the must-try Minced Toro (Tuna Belly) Sushi.

Special additions are available every Friday to Sunday, featuring Iso-yaki Abalone, Sweet Scallop Sashimi, and Fresh Sea Bream Sushi.

The selection of hot dishes is equally abundant, including a Skewer Moriawase (Chicken with Leek, Chicken Soft Bone, Squid, Mackerel, and King Oyster Mushroom), popular Takoyaki, Salmon Roe and Wild Mushroom Takikomi Gohan, Japanese Chicken and Mushroom Pizza, and Japanese Fried Noodles. Begin with refreshing appetizers such as Fruit rojak and Green papaya salad. Sashimi selections include Red shrimp, Tuna, Herring, and Salmon, with Sweet scallop sashimi available from Friday to Sunday. The chilled seafood station offers Crab legs, Mussels, King prawns, and Crawfish, bursting with ocean‑fresh flavours.

Hot dishes feature Malaysian Satay skewers, Bak kut teh, Wagyu beef pho, Thai‑style braised pork knuckle, Pad Thai, Sambal sotong, Strawberry sweet and sour pork ribs, Tom yum shrimp soup and Beef rendang, served alongside an array of Western, Chinese, Indian and barbecue favourites.
