[Macau Accommodation Deals] Grand Emperor Hotel Macau | Close to popular attractions such as the Ruins of St. Paul's
2026/06/19
The hotel included a deluxe double room, evening tea, tempura soba noodle set, lounge vouchers, buffet breakfast, and a Macau pass. It was raining when I arrived in Macau in the morning. There's a shuttle bus from Studio City to the central area; the drop-off point is right next to the hotel. Getting off the bus in the pouring rain dampened my spirits. After checking in, I went back to my room, which was spacious and comfortable, and a rest helped me recover. At 5:00 PM, I enjoyed evening tea at the Executive Lounge. It was still drizzling, so I went to the Yaohan Department Store next to the hotel to buy souvenirs. At 7:30 PM, I ordered the hotel's G/F restaurant's premium robatayaki tempura set meal. In the evening, I went to the Vensade Lounge. The staff mentioned at check-in that I could enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks from the room's refrigerator. (The evening tea time is close to dinner time; it would be better if it were earlier. The hotel gave me five 100-dollar Vensade Lounge vouchers, but apparently only one can be used at a time.)

[Macao Buffet] Mistral at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 | Buffet Lunch / Buffet Dinner / Afternoon Tea

The price is very reasonable, and the food tastes good. Although there aren't any fancy dishes, simple and delicious is enough. I especially love the desserts. Overall, it's great value for money.

Macau Dining Offer: Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 | Le Xuan Hua Cantonese Restaurant / Dim Sum All You Can Eat
2026/06/17
The dim sum at Le Xuan Hua is fairly good, and the portions are generous. A basket of shrimp dumplings contains five pieces, and a serving of sweet bean curd sticks contains eight pieces, which is really too much. Because I was worried about wasting food, I didn't try all the dim sum. The red bean soup dessert, in particular, needs improvement.
