The ticketing process was simple and easy to understand. However, there were designated ferry schedules for both the outbound and return trips, and I only found out upon arrival that there were schedules for the outbound trip. The ticket seller for the return trip didn't check the designated times, so the timing was relatively flexible, which was still quite good.
I took my parents to Shikoku this time, and before the trip, I happened to see a video about this place on YouTube, so I immediately made a reservation! The whole family had a great time. The instructor was very cheerful and could even speak a little Chinese. He was also very helpful in taking photos and creating wonderful memories. I recommend the DIY + meal set (it was delicious!).
The trip started in Takamatsu. Since this was a quick trip, I bought a three-day pass. All I had to do was print the voucher beforehand, and then exchange it for the physical pass and reserved seat tickets at Takamatsu Station. It's very flexible and convenient for traveling to surrounding areas. For example, when I went to Shiratori Shrine, I transferred at Sanhonmatsu Station to Shiratori Station in Sanuki Prefecture. Overall, it's extremely useful. If you're traveling in Shikoku, you absolutely must buy this pass.
