This itinerary is perfect for bringing elders. Although the journey takes a while (starting from Osaka), it only covers 3 points, and the walking distance to the scenic spots isn't tiring. Getting on and off the bus is always the same, so there's no confusion. 👍 The only downside was that when we got off at Arashiyama, the tour leader walked incredibly fast, and the elderly and children in our group couldn't keep up, which was a bit of a shame. Also, tickets for the Sagano Scenic Railway are sold out if you book late, and the travel information didn't clearly state that if you booked early, you could still catch up with the group.
The young lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly, providing detailed explanations. She speaks Chinese, so there's no need to worry about language barriers. The selection of kimonos is extensive; you're sure to find one you like. The new arrivals look fantastic on! The ladies who help with dressing and hairstyling are professional, friendly, and chatty—they all speak Chinese too! They're very engaging. There are many hairstyling options, and they'll discuss details with you. You can also choose your favorite hair accessories. The stylist is amazing! The final look was incredibly satisfying. The bags available are also exquisite. If I go back, I'll definitely choose this shop again!
Booked a 8.30am slot on a Tuesday and it was very packed when we went in. When we returned our kimonos at 1pm, the store was also very packed. Store space (first floor for outfit selection, second floor for hairstyling and changing) are both not big. Japanese lady who helped me with my kimono in my second floor was very lovely.
But the choices of kimono even for the special offer are great. There are even lace designs available to choose from. Hairstyling was also done very nicely and I love it!
This day trip exceeded my expectations; the cherry blossoms were exactly what I imagined, and the attractions we visited were exactly what I loved ❤️ We also had a lovely tour guide who maintained a perfect distance in our interactions – it was wonderful 😆
The trip went smoothly, and the tour guide introduced the various attractions and good restaurants on the bus, saving time searching for information after getting off the bus. Although the time was a little rushed, overall it went well. The weather was great, and the scenery was beautiful. I recommend it to those who like Japanese history and traditional wooden architecture. The tour guide and back-office staff were friendly and promptly assisted in resolving any issues. I'm truly grateful! 🙏
The staff were friendly and very welcoming. There were no hidden costs unless customers chose to add extra services or accessories. The kimono designs offered a wide variety of choices.
