This time, we flew from Vancouver to Eastern Europe via London. I bought a 30-day, 1GB/day internet package from another company, while my wife bought a 30-day, 500MB/day package from the same company. During our layover in London, my internet connection was unreliable, while my wife's connection was smooth. I eventually managed to contact the other company's customer service, who taught me how to manually adjust the settings, and finally helped me connect. Later, we traveled to Vienna, Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk in Poland, and Edinburgh in the UK. Throughout the journey, the other company's internet frequently disconnected, requiring manual adjustments, sometimes successful, sometimes not; the signal was consistently unstable. My wife, however, had a smooth, strong signal using our own company's service. Back in London, the connection remained unstable, requiring frequent manual adjustments, and the signal was intermittent. I had no signal at all on the London Underground, making Google Maps useless, while my wife's internet had a signal. I'm now quite adept at manually adjusting internet service, which is my biggest takeaway. Even so, when there's truly no internet, even the most skilled cook can't cook without ingredients; I still have to borrow my wife's internet until I find it again. The biggest lesson from this trip is: when traveling as a couple, never buy services from the same company. If you run into a problem, you have other options. When traveling independently abroad, encountering internet problems or being unable to use Google Maps due to a lack of internet can easily ruin your day's itinerary. It's truly heartbreaking to regret booking with the wrong internet service provider. I highly recommend this company's product; it had a continuous connection throughout the trip, and the signal was still strong even on the London Underground.
