Spring, summer and autumn are the best times to visit. In spring the mountains are red, in summer the breeze is gentle, and in autumn the forests are dyed.

There are more than 30 scenic spots in the Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area, including the magical turtle head, a sea of 10,000 acres of azaleas, the site of the Anti-Japanese War, and stone carvings of Dong Biwu's inscriptions.
