Join us for a parent-child e-bike nature tour along the Nogawa River, featuring a guided nature observation from Kokubunji to Komae. We will enter the river to catch aquatic creatures and explore the forest to search for beetle larvae. We will also provide explanations about wild birds and other wildlife. Target aquatic creatures: Chichibu goby, Ukigori goby, Yoshinobori goby, Pale chub, Moroko, Loach, Japanese mitten crab, Sawagani crab, Carp, Crucian carp, and Crayfish. Target larvae: Rhinoceros beetles, Stag beetles, Longhorn beetles, and you may also find adults. Birds: Grey heron, Little egret, Common kingfisher, White wagtail, Japanese pygmy woodpecker, Great tit, Tufted duck, and Bull-headed shrike. Start at 09:00 and 13:00 at Jindai Nigiwai no Sato. Planned return at 12:00 and 15:00 at Jindai Nigiwai no Sato. Route: Chofu → Mitaka City (aquatic creature spotting) → Musashino City (forest walk) → Koganei City, Kokubunji City, and returning along the other side of the Nogawa River. Route: Kokubunji City → Komae City → Chofu City (scheduled end). This is an approx. 3-hour nature experience tour to search for wildlife. What to bring: You are welcome to bring your own bicycle, and children may also use their own bicycles, but please wear a helmet. Please bring gloves, a change of clothes, drinks, a plastic case, a collapsible bucket, and a battery-operated aerator. Provided by us: 15 e-bikes, 10 children's bicycles, waders, nets, collapsible buckets, garden rakes, and hammers.
