When the sun goes down, the Arctic landscape changes completely. The forests become quiet, the snow reflects your headlights and the trails feel completely different from during the day.

This experience is designed for people who want to enjoy snowmobiling at night, we are the only company who focuses on driving at night. Unlike Northern Lights tours, where the main purpose is to search for the aurora, the focus here is the ride itself. Explore snowy Lappish forests, frozen landscapes and Arctic trails while enjoying the unique atmosphere of driving a snowmobile after dark.

The Northern Lights are simply a bonus. We do not charge extra because the tour takes place at night or because there is a possibility of seeing the aurora. If they appear while we are riding, we will stop to enjoy them and take photos. You are booking a night snowmobile experience, not an aurora chase.

Small groups, personal experience

We keep our groups to a maximum of 8 guests, allowing our guides to adapt the pace. Whenever possible, we separate adult groups and family groups, as they usually have a different pace. Adults can enjoy a more dynamic ride, while families can travel comfortably with children.

For families with younger children, we provide our unique heated children’s sleighs in Rovaniemi with a seat belt, pulled safely by the guide. This allows children to stay warm and comfortable while adults rides the snowmobiles behind, experiencing the Arctic night ride.

Latest-generation snowmobiles and real experienced guides

Before setting off, our experienced guides explain everything you need to know about driving and safety. No previous experience is required, and we adapt the pace to the group.

The experience starts at our office in Rovaniemi, or we can pick you up from your accommodation (15km max from city center). Thermal clothing, boots, gloves, helmet and balaclava are included on the tour.

After the safety briefing, we head into the Arctic night. The experience lasts approximately 3 hours 30 mins in total, including preparation, safety briefing and around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes of snowmobile driving. Along the way, we make stops for photos and to enjoy the landscape.

There is no rush to reach a campfire, restaurant or Northern Lights viewing point. The purpose is simple: ride, explore and enjoy the Arctic night.

Whether the sky stays dark or the Northern Lights appear, you will experience something that cannot be replicated during a daytime safari: the feeling of riding a snowmobile through the silent Arctic landscape after dark.
