Product Info

A one-of-a-kind perfume-making experience designed for creativity and connection. You’ll be guided through the fascinating art and science of scent-making – learning to notice, experiment, and create in a way that feels both grounding and personal. Designed to be approachable and reflective, with an emphasis on curiosity rather than perfection – no experience needed. Hosted in a beautiful home studio, tucked away in a traditional Dutch house.

What to Expect:

Part 1 | Welcome & Grounding (30 mins)
Connect with one another over your favourite smells and the memories that they evoke, followed by a grounding meditation to set the tone and your intentions.

Part 2 | Intro & Guided Discovery (1.5 hrs)
Learn the basics of perfumery and the science behind your sense of smell. Train your nose to recognise and categorise different scents, exploring high-quality ingredients during a fully-guided discovery. You'll begin to understand how ingredients behave, what they evoke, and how to use them to express something personal.

Part 3 | Mindful Experimental Blending (1 hour)
Using the materials you've just encountered, enjoy plenty of time to experiment, and craft a fragrance that's uniquely yours, with 1:1 guidance throughout. Leave with your sample spray and personalised formula in a hand-stamped linen pouch, or upgrade to a travel-friendly 10ml bottle for an additional €35.

Tea and water will be provided to keep you refreshed and focused.

Scentered Workshops is passionate about making perfumery accessible for all and creating a welcoming space where everyone feels at home – no prior knowledge, no pressure, just curiosity and a willingness to try.

This workshop is for anyone:
- curious about fragrance and wanting to understand how perfume actually works
- seeking a mindful, sensory escape from the usual tourist trail
- who loves arts, crafts, and learning new skills
- travelling solo, as a couple or in a small group
- looking for a genuinely memorable experience while visiting Amsterdam
