Product Info

Leave the busy streets of Kathmandu behind and step into the changing landscapes of the Himalayas on a 13-day Annapurna Circuit Trek with an experienced licensed guide. This journey takes you from green river valleys and traditional mountain villages to the high-altitude landscapes of Manang and Mustang, with the support of a local woman who knows the trails, culture, and rhythm of life in the mountains.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, followed by a local jeep ride to Dharapani, where the trekking journey begins. Walk through beautiful mountain landscapes toward Chame and Pisang, passing pine forests, waterfalls, traditional villages, Buddhist shrines, prayer flags, and dramatic Himalayan viewpoints along the way.

Continue from Pisang to Manang via the scenic villages of Ghyaru and Ngawal, where higher viewpoints offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Spend an important acclimatization day in Manang with time to explore the area and take a short hike to Gangapurna Lake or Ice Lake. From Manang, gradually ascend toward Yak Kharka and Thorong Phedi as the landscape becomes more rugged and alpine.

The biggest challenge and one of the most rewarding moments comes when you cross Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters. Start early and climb through the high-altitude landscape to reach the famous pass, marked with colorful prayer flags. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views across the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges before descending toward the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath.

From Muktinath, the journey continues on foot toward Marpha through the dramatic Mustang landscape. Explore Marpha's traditional stone-paved streets, whitewashed houses, monasteries, and famous apple orchards, then enjoy a relaxed rest day in the village. Continue onward to Pokhara, where you can unwind beside the lake and enjoy the city's relaxed atmosphere.

Throughout the trek, stay in traditional mountain teahouses and experience the simple rhythm of Himalayan life. Enjoy local meals, meet people in remote communities, and discover the cultural contrast between Buddhist mountain villages and sacred Hindu sites.

With an experienced guide leading the way, you'll have someone to assist with the practical challenges of trekking, share local stories and traditions, and provide guidance as the altitude and terrain become more demanding. From the first mountain roads beyond Kathmandu to standing high above the clouds at Thorong La, this trek brings together adventure, culture, spectacular scenery, and the personal connection that makes a Himalayan journey truly memorable.
