From Tirana: Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, Trip with 4x4 SUV｜Albania

The journey will begin with an SUV waiting for you at the meeting point, which will provide you with a pleasant and smooth journey lasting about 1.5 hours.

Along the way, we will first stop at a local market where you can buy snacks/drinks (alcohol is not allowed) and use the free toilets/restrooms.

We continue the journey, where we will later make another 10-minute stop at Bovilla Canyon to take some photos.

After this stop, we head towards our final destination, where the lake dam proudly appears and Lake Bovilla slowly begins to appear.

As we approach Lake Bovilla, the real experience will begin.

Thanks to the SUV, we will be able to avoid a good part of the difficulty of the climb, and we will park on the so-called "Balcony of Bovilla" from which the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains becomes clearer. There is also a bar-restaurant there that you can use later for your needs.

Upon arrival there, we disembark and begin our journey on foot towards Gamti Mountain. The ascent can take 20 to 30 minutes.

Once you reach Gamti Mountain, enjoy the fresh air and wild natural beauty, and capture memorable photos. You will have up to 1 hour of free time to spend as you wish.

After this beautiful adventure, we will return in Tirana and drop you off at the same place where we picked you up.

Important: For the climb to Mount Gamti, sports shoes and suitable clothing are required. Please, in the case that you are facing any issues with climbing ask your Guide in order to avoid to take the path in you are not in the condition to do it or even if you encounter difficulties during the climb or due to the time of year you are traveling, the heat may affect your performance, please consult the relevant guide.
