Departure Time: 8:00 AM (an earlier start with fewer crowds)

Meeting Point: Line 5 Zhangzizhonglu Subway Station Exit C (5号线张自忠路地铁C口).

Itinerary:

8:00 AM: Meet at Zhangzizhonglu Subway Station and depart for Mutianyu Great Wall.

9:30 AM: Arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall. Skip the shuttle bus and head straight to the entrance.

9:30 AM - 2:30 PM: Enjoy 5 hours of free exploration on the Great Wall.

2:30 PM: Depart for Beijing.

4:00 PM-6:00 PM Arrive back in the city.

Toboggan is recommended when exploring the eastern part. The cable car or toboggan fee is 140rmb per person which's not included in your tour price, if you take both side cable car and Toboggan then the price will be 280rmb per person, you need to purchase it on your own . If you want to take it, on the day of departure, you can tell the tour guide he can help you buy it.

  • Know Before You Go: 4. Every Monday, the city's attractions, such as the Forbidden City the National Museum, are closed, so the Great Wall will be more crowded than usual. If you have enough time, you can avoid Monday.
