Start with a free pickup from your Taupo accommodation in our bright yellow stretch Hummer. Groups of 6 or more can also be collected free from Rotorua. The drop zone is at Taupo Airport, about 10 minutes from town.

Our experienced and friendly team will take you through a safety briefing, get you geared up and give you a free buff to wear on the jump and keep. You can also add a photo and video package, from NZ$139, so you can relive it later.

Then it's up in the plane to 12,000 or 15,000ft (depending on the option you choose), with views over Lake Taupo and across to Mount Ruapehu and Mount Ngauruhoe, better known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings. At altitude the door opens, you sit on the edge with your tandem master behind you, and drop into 40 or 60 seconds of freefall at around 200 km/h.

At 5,500ft the parachute opens for a peaceful ride down, with time to take in the views before landing back at the drop zone. Then it's high fives, your certificate, and a ride back to town.
