A 2-day, 1-night bus tour departing from Shinjuku, Tokyo, to fully enjoy autumn in Nagano.

You can relax and enjoy the 120th Nagano Ebisu-ko Fireworks Festival, which colors the clear late-autumn night sky, from reserved E-area folding chair seating. A special drone show featuring approximately 1,300 drones is also scheduled before the fireworks display. Enjoy fireworks unique to late autumn, different from summer fireworks.

After the fireworks, stay at Shinshu Yomase Onsen 'Hotel Selan.' Relax and enjoy the hot springs at the panoramic open-air bath 'Tominoyu,' which overlooks the Northern Alps and Zenko-ji Plain.

On the second day, enjoy free time in Shibu Onsen, which retains its traditional wooden architecture and cobblestone alleys. After strolling through the hot spring town and enjoying local snacks, visit the 1,400-year-old Zenko-ji Temple. Join a volunteer-guided tour (English) of the Zenko-ji temple grounds to learn about the history, culture, and highlights of the area.
=======
The Nagano Guide Association is a volunteer guide organization established in June 2012. They have guided approximately 1,600 Japanese tourists through Nagano city annually. They began English-language tours on January 6, 2020. Please note they are not professional interpreters.
=======

Additionally, experience a sake brewery tour at Nishinomon Yoshinoya in the Zenko-ji outer gardens (Japanese guide/interpreted by tour conductor). Explore the historic brewery and sake production facilities, and enjoy tasting sake, miso, and amazake.

This is a seasonal 2-day trip where you can experience the unique charms of Japan, including fireworks, a drone show, hot springs, a traditional hot spring town, temples, and sake breweries.

Solo participants are welcome, and single-occupancy rooms are available. Travel from Tokyo is easy by bus. This tour is recommended for those who want to take their time and enjoy autumn in Nagano.
