    • This special guided program allows you to experience the entirety of the World Heritage site "Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei" in one day, visiting the "Three Towers": Toto, Saito, and Yokokawa. Local guides are stationed in each area (Toto, Saito, and Yokokawa) to provide easy-to-understand explanations of the role and history of the main halls, including the National Treasure Konpon-chudo (study stage). Following a set time schedule, you will travel between areas on your own (using the mountain shuttle bus or your own car, etc.), making this a new style of program that balances freedom of movement with expert learning. Lunch will be provided at the Minemichi Restaurant, which offers spectacular views of Lake Biwa. This is a fulfilling one-day course where you can thoroughly enjoy the profound charm and rich nature of Mount Hiei. [Itinerary] Meeting time: 09:15 in front of Cable Enryakuji Station / 09:30 in front of Enryakuji Bus Center → [09:45-10:50] Visit to the East Pagoda area (guided tour): Daikodo, Konpon Chudo, Shugaku Stage, Manbaido → Travel on your own for about 20 minutes (Shuttle departs 11:08 ⇒ arrives 11:11, etc.) → [11:15-12:05] Visit to the West Pagoda area (guided tour): Ninai-do, Shakado, Jodoin → Travel on your own for about 10 minutes → [12:15-13:10] Minemichi area (scenic lunch & shopping) → Travel on your own for about 10 minutes → [13:25-14:25] Visit to the Yokokawa area (guided tour): Yokokawa Chudo, Gansan Daishido → Around 14:25 The tour will end in the Yokogawa area (return shuttle departs Yokogawa at 14:30, arriving at the bus center at 14:43 and Sakamoto Cable Entrance at 14:44). *Please note that times may change due to congestion, memorial services, weather, etc.

    Important notes regarding course participation:

    • [Regarding internal worship at the Konpon-chudo Hall] Currently, due to major renovation work, internal worship at the Konpon-chudo Hall is not possible. You can worship the main image of Buddha and the eternal flame at the Manbaido Hall. ・Transportation between areas is at your own discretion (by bus or private car). Guides will not be accompanying you on the bus or leading you, so please proceed to the next meeting point at your own pace. ・You will be walking up long stairs and slopes, so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. ・The tour will proceed even in the rain. Please prepare your own rain gear (however, it may be canceled in case of severe weather). ・Places visited may be changed suddenly due to religious services, etc.

    Other special notes:

    • *The minimum number of participants for this tour is 2. If you wish to participate even if you are the only participant, please apply at the single-person rate. If the minimum number of participants (2 or more) is reached through other applications, the difference will be refunded. *Transportation within the temple grounds is not included. Please make your own way to the temple grounds by shuttle bus or private car. *This program is not a guided tour where a guide will ride along on the bus. Local guides will be waiting for you at the meeting points in the East Pagoda, West Pagoda, and Yokokawa areas and will guide you through the sights in that area. After the tour, you will be dismissed and will be free to travel to the next area by shuttle bus or private car at your own discretion. Estimated travel times and shuttle bus schedules for each section will be provided, so even first-time visitors can participate with peace of mind.

    • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
    • For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
    • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
    • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
    • For cancellations made 0 to 0 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply

    • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
