Cafayate: Full-day winery tour and wine tasting｜Argentina

After departing from central Salta, we'll head south along Provincial Route 68, passing through four tobacco-growing villages. The first stop will be in Talapampa, a rural place to rest for about twenty minutes. Then we'll continue to Alemanía, a former railway town founded by Germans where five families currently live. In this town, the magic of the trip will begin: the Quebrada de las Conchas nature reserve. There we'll visit 65-million-year-old sedimentary formations such as the Devil's Throat, the Amphitheater, the Toad, and the Yesera, among others. Due to its rich archaeological and historical past, the reserve has numerous fossil remains. After a thorough exploration, we'll visit a vineyard and taste some of the best wines that the region has to offer, including Torrontés. We'll spend two hours in the town of Cafayate. One hour for lunch and another for exploring. Please respect the meeting time for the return to Salta with the tour guide.
