Embark on a journey through Karpathos that awakens all your senses! Begin your day by meeting your guide in Pigadia (if you’ve arranged a transfer) or at the welcoming starting point in Pini Volada.

In just ten minutes, you’ll reach the island’s highest village—Othos—where sweeping views of the Aegean Sea set the stage for adventure. The path winds from the tranquil east coast to the lush, vineyard-laced hills of Kallenes on the west, with the distant silhouette of Kasos island glimmering on the horizon. Along the way, you’ll pause in the peaceful mountain village of Stes for a relaxing tea break beneath the shade of the local church—perfect for catching your breath and soaking up authentic island life.

Afterwards, you'll continue our scenic walk back to Othos, where a magical taverna awaits. There, you’ll savor a traditional Karpathian lunch—fresh, local flavours served with a side of warm hospitality. The walk takes about 3 hours at a comfortable pace, offering plenty of time to enjoy the wind in your hair and the island’s vibrant, green landscapes. Bring a windbreaker and your curiosity—Karpathos is ready to surprise you at every turn!

  • Meeting point description: AutoTour Pigadia for those who booked including transportation.(Auto Tour Karpathos, PIGADIA KARPATHOS 857 00, Greece)

  • Not allowed:Children under 6 years old

  • Know in advance:Upon booking including transfer: You will be picked up at the meeting point in Pigadia to reach the starting point of the hike near Art and Walk in Volada (approx. 20-minute drive). From there, you'll walk a loop and end the hike near Art and Walk again where you drive back down to Pigadia. If booked excluding transfer please meet your guide near the Art and Walk location where you start and end the hike. A Google maps pinpointed location will be provided upon booking

  • A walking stick can be borrowed on request on-site

  • The tour might be cancelled if unforeseen circumstances, such as bad weather, make the activity impossible or dangerous or if the minimum number of 5 participants isn't reached. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund

  • Remember to bring:It is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes with good soles and take enough water with you (2 litres per person), some snacks, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock, and cash for drinks during lunch
